Journey , Spirit of the North is an adventure game with no dialogue or narrative to speak of. This time you’re a fox, slowly trudging (and occasionally sliding) through the desolate world around you.
The YouTube bio box for the trailer tells me that this is set in Iceland, but since that isn’t actually in the game, it’s not really important.
All that matters is that you’re a fox, you’re on a journey and you’re following a mysterious giant red streak painted across in the sky.
That’s pretty much about as complicated as the game gets. It’s easy to compare this to Journey, but Spirit of the North is so much more than that, when it gets things right.Sadly, there are a couple of areas which make this game really fall down hard, and make me think.
