A Scot has been arrested at Prestwick Airport in connection with a probe into the trafficking of almost a quarter of a tonne of cocaine.
The man, 45, from Irvine, was arrested by National Crime Agency officers on Saturday, October 9 and taken to Carlisle police station.
He was questioned before being released under investigation.The drugs linked to the case were discovered by Border Force hidden on a bus in Dover in September 2020.
