A Scots mum was left distraught after her five-year-old daughter had a huge patch of her hair ripped out when it got caught in an electric whisk.
The freak accident occurred when the schoolgirl, who we are not naming to protect her identity, was baking cakes with her grandmother at the weekend.
The Ayrshire youngster leaned forward towards the bowl to check if the cake mix was ready and in a 'split-second' her hair became tangled up in the rapid mixer and immediately torn from her scalp.The child's fast-thinking gran quickly stopped the whisk, but not before almost a quarter of her beautiful brunette locks were gone.Today, her mum spoke out to warn other parents to be on their guard.She said: "My mum and daughter have always baked
