Benidorm star drops huge hint much-loved ITV comedy is returning

Actress Sherrie Hewson has teased a huge hint that popular ITV sitcom Benidorm will be making a return to TV as she shared a cryptic response to eagle-eyed social media fans.The Benidorm legend, 73, seemingly suggested the show might be returning for a new series, six years after it was cancelled. Sherrie's cryptic comment comes just a few months after the creator behind the much-loved comedy hinted at a possible revival of the show, Derren Litten, teased that he's ready to write new episodes. Benidorm aired from 2007 until 2018, bagging numerous awards and nominations including NTAs and BAFTAs.
