TV personality Rylan Clark and radio DJ Scott Mills were rescued by Merseyside Water Rescue after they had dinner and found themselves stuck on a boat during Eurovision pandemonium in Liverpool last night.
Speaking to his followers on Instagram, Rylan, 34, revealed that the duo went out for some late dinner and left the restaurant at the same time crowds were leaving the M&S Bank Arena.
After not being able to get a taxi, the former X Factor star was put on a boat by emergency services with pal Scott, however, they were unable to leave the dock.
Speaking to his Instagram the back of a car, kitted out in a high visibility jacket, Ryan said: “So basically there's been no cars.” DJ Scott, 50, quickly interjected: “Well we did leave dinner at the exact time when everyone was leaving the arena.” Rylan continued recalling the events of the evening: “We didn’t realise the arena was kicking out at that point, well done everyone.
