Ruth Langsford issues stern warning to Eamonn Holmes about romancing her friends

Ruth Langsford has told her husband Eamonn Holmes that if he hooks up with any of her friends when she dies she will come back and haunt him.

The TV presenter, 61, issued the stern warning on Loose Women as she and the rest of the panellists discussed how soon was too soon to move on after the end of a relationship, or after a partner dies.

The general consensus was that people are different and Ruth and co agreed that people moved on at their own pace.But she clearly didn't feel the same way about who people moved on with.Turning to the camera, she delivering a clear message to Eamonn, saying: "Although I will say, Eamonn if you end up with any of my friends I will come back and I will haunt you both!"The pair started dating in the late 90s and they went on to get married 12 years ago in 2010.Ruth recently told how Eamonn has helped her to accept certain things about herself, such as what she called her "wobbly bits".She told Closer magazine last year: "I definitely feel sexy at 60, but a big part of this is thanks to my husband."The star also paid tribute to her hubby on Instagram in 2020 when they celebrated a decade of marriage.Sharing a series of gorgeous snaps from their wedding day, she wrote: "Loving & laughing for 24 years..."Happy 10th Anniversary my darling @eamonnholmes."The pair - who have a son named Jack together - used to work together on This Morning and were one of TV's best-loved husband and wife teams.However, last year Eamonn announced that he was leaving the daytime show and he has now moved to GB News.
