GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes has taken to Twitter to react following a tweet claiming that he and co-star Isabel Webster are increasing the broadcaster's viewing figures.This year saw the former This Morning presenter, 62, settle into his Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel programme which received an outpouring of praise.
Now, social media users are claiming that other broadcasters are having to step up their game following the popularity of Eamonn's new breakfast show.In view of his one million followers, the husband of presenter Ruth Langsford addressed the claims.Eamonn wrote: "Not the first to say this.
GMB advertising heavily as well."Whatever you do stay strong folks and stay with @GBNEWS," he ended his post.The former This Morning host was responding to a tweet from Twitter user Martin Loftus.They had written: "Just seen @BBCBreakfast being advertised for the first time ever on the BBC."@EamonnHolmes & Isobel Webster on @GBNEWS breakfast must be having one hell of an impact on their viewing figures."Following Eamonn's reaction, the star was soon inundated with comments from his fans.Valerie Lomas wrote: "Think it’s the best news programme in the morning and not doom laden like the bbc or celebrity driven like the ITV." Great job!"Among the viewers who have switched over from other channels to watch Eamonn in his new role is his wife Ruth.Yesterday the former This Morning presenter revealed that she too had tuned into GB news to watch her spouse hard at work.The 62-year-old used the story feature to gush about her partner as he kicked off his early show.
