Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

Eamonn Holmes speaks out about replacing Simon McCoy on GB News' breakfast show

Eamonn Holmes, 62.The former This Morning presenter made his big GB News debut alongside co-host Isabel Webster on 3 January.Together, they host the channel’s new Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel programme.Eamonn took over the breakfast slot from BBC star Simon McCoy, who became the latest senior figure to leave GB News in December last year.The reason for his departure was noted as "personal reasons", and Eamonn revealed he was moving to Hollywood after recently tying the knot with Dynasty star Emma Samms."I can’t see what Simon would be too worried about," he shrugged.GB News’ chief executive, Angelos Frangopoulos, described Simon as an "outstanding broadcaster" and told the Daily Telegraph: "We remain open to ways we can work with him again in future."Eamonn's move comes after he was dropped from ITV after 15 years, when he and wife Ruth Langsford, were stripped from their weekly presentation duties last year.While he wasn't shocked with the decision that they were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, he did admit he was given "no reason" as to why."I don’t have any issues with that at all," he told The Times."I just have issues with why they can’t tell you your time is up."Just have a conversation, any conversation."He added: "I was given no reason why I was blocked."A spokesperson for ITV said at the time: "We would like to wish Eamonn all of the very best in his new role."As a duo, Eamonn and Ruth have been part of the This Morning presenting team for the last 15 years and we thank Eamonn for all of his hard work and contribution to the show."Despite the issues surrounding his exit, Eamonn described the move to GB News as "one of the most exciting yet".He said: "I’ve admired GB News from the beginning for.
