Lucy Alexander hopped onto her official Instagram account to pay tribute to her daughter Kitty Castledine on the 12th anniversary of the latter's paralysis.
Kitty had a health condition called Transverse Myelitis, which caused the immune system to attack the spinal cord, leaving her instantly paralysed on what had started as just another ordinary day at school.According to the NHS, symptoms include back pain, weakness in the legs, and bowel and bladder problems.
In Kitty's case, she has been in a wheelchair for years and is regularly attending exercise classes in a bid to be able to walk again.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the former Homes Under the Hammer presenter shared: "The anniversary of your paralysis - a day I will never forget.
