Comedian Roy Wood Jr will headline this year's White House Correspondents' Association dinner.Wood is best known for playing a reporter on The Daily Show. 'It will be a great night that will go down in the history books, or not, depending on which state you live in,' the humorist joked in a statement.
He also said, 'It's an honor to be a part of a long-running tradition of celebrating those members of the media, who work so hard to uncover the truth, and hold our government accountable.' This year the annual star-studded gathering will take place in Washington, DC on April 29 and President Joe Biden is expected to attend.
