A terminally-ill mum married her platonic best friend after deciding she didn't want to die without 'having a wedding day'. Single mum Kerry Kenworthy was diagnosed with cervical cancer in September 2021.
She was given the all-clear after treatment, but in November 2022 doctors found it had spread to her spine. The 34-year-old was told the devastating news that she had just 12 to 18 months to live.
