SFA President Rod Petrie has poured cold water on the idea that a version of England's 'Project Restart' could happen north of the border.
The former Hibs chairman believes the closed-door programme planned by English Premier League clubs to resume football following the coronavirus crisis is unworkable in Scotland because of our clubs' dependency on gate receipts as income.
The UEFA Benchmarking Report from January shows that 43 per cent of Scottish clubs' income is derived from gate receipts while the figure is only 13 per cent in England.And Petrie urged calm as he insisted clubs should not feel pressured by England's desire to get back on the pitch.
