The governing body have been invited to a roundtable with the Scottish Government and Petrie is aware of a similar situation in England where the Premier League's return has been urged to help lift the country.
And former Hibs chief Petrie insists the timeframe for Scottish football's return will be high on the agenda when they do get to speak.
It comes as he hailed clubs for quickly responding to the Joint Response Group's request to form sub-committees to help quicken the return to playing football.
