Rangers will be able to travel to France for pre-season friendlies after a key Scottish Government announcement on Wednesday.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has approved travel to 57 countries without the need to self-isolate upon a return to Scotland.France, the destination for friendlies planned by both clubs, is included in the list of "air bridges" - meaning the Glasgow sides can travel without the threat of quarantine when they arrive back in Scotland for the new season.Rangers are set to take part in matches against Lyon and Nice at the former team's Groupama Stadium.Celtic will also take on both of those sides before travelling to the French capital to face Paris Saint-Germain.
