Ryanair planes are departing to Malaga, Pisa, Faro, Ibiza, Tenerife, Alicante, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Murcia and Rome.
The airline said yesterday the Ayrshire flights are “filling up" despite travel restrictions. First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced today that Scots travelling to Spain will still have to obey a 14 day quarantine when they return home.
The Scottish Government approved a list of other countries without travel restrictions as part of ‘air bridge’ agreements from July 10.
Scots can travel freely to 57 nations including France, Italy, Greece, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Poland with no quarantine requirement on return.
