A popular pub landlord known to thousands as Boyzie has died from coronavirus weeks after he was pulling pints for racegoers at his Cheltenham boozer.
Alexander Grierson, 67, succumbed to coronavirus weeks after the "Greatest Show on Turf", Cheltenham Festival, which ran from March 10 to 13.
The landlord, who owned the Beehive pub near the race course, was pulling pints for punters despite the threat of Covid-19. He had been following advice by health experts and government officials, who took no action against the deadly disease and let 250,000 people attend.
