The investigation was launched after emergency services rushed to Flora Street, on the outskirts of Oldham town centre, shortly before 3am on Thursday, March 25, following reports a man had been stabbed.
Stephen Taylor was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital in a critical condition from the scene. The 39-year-old, from Stalybridge in Tameside, was tragically pronounced dead at the hospital.
Six people were arrested on suspicion of murder following Mr Taylor's death. Three men - aged 26, 38 and 66 - and three women - aged 24, 31 and 49 -
