Police have been spotted searching for a wanted man in a Manchester park this afternoon. Officers were seen at Clayton Hall tram stop and park in east Manchester at around 12:30pm on Sunday (April 14).
Several police cars and vans were spotted around the Metrolink stop, with uniformed officers 'searching' in the nearby park.
Greater Manchester Police said one man has been arrested following a report from a member of the public of a sighting of a man wanted for shoplifting.
