Piers Morgan has confessed he has just one regret after leaving Good Morning Britain.As he appeared on Lorraine Kelly's self-titled ITV show to talk about his exit from GMB and his upcoming show, Lorraine questioned him on whether he regretted his exit and how he left the show.Piers was explaining his upcoming show, Piers Uncensored, as he confessed he wants to be "fair to all sides", telling the host that she knows why he left Good Morning Britain.Lorraine said: "Do you regret that Piers?
Do you regret the way it happened and the fact it happened?" Piers responded: "Let me be clear. I only regret that ITV tried to make me apologise for something that I genuinely believe."He added: "I didn't believe most of what was coming out of Meghan Markle's mouth." The former GMB star reaffirmed that everyone is "allowed an opinion" before adding: "I was precisely hired to host that show because of my strong opinions." He opened up about the decision to leave GMB and explained he didn't want to and it wasn't his choice to leave the popular ITV show Piers said he was told he needed to apologise or leave the show.
After a rant about cancel culture Lorraine told the host that he's "not cancelled", but he firmly quipped back: "I was cancelled from Good Morning Britain.
I didn't want to leave.However, despite Piers' open rant on his exit from ITV, he did tell Lorraine that he had a fantastic time on the show.
