Paul Pogba’s Manchester United career a “big disappointment” ahead of his likely departure in the summer. Pogba has been a polarising figure at Old Trafford since joining the club for a second time in 2016.

The flamboyant midfielder arrived from Juventus for a fee of £87million but has constantly faced criticism during his six years at Old Trafford for not delivering the same quality he displays for France. The World Cup winner is expected to leave United for free in the summer when his contract expires, with interim manager Ralf Rangnick confirming he is unlikely to sign a new deal.

And Red Devils legend Scholes, who played alongside Pogba in his first spell at the club as a youngster, believes the playmaker has failed to improve during his time at United.Scholes told talkSPORT: “I was there when he was a kid and this lad has got absolutely everything you would want in a footballer and a midfield player.

His physique, he can run. I just don’t think he’s ever learned as a footballer, he constantly seems to make the same mistakes over and over again.“It’s disappointing, it looks like he’s going to leave.
