Roy Keane made a thinly-veiled dig at former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he discussed the job that awaits Erik ten Hag in the summer.

Solskjaer, 49, lost his job in November after a poor start to the season. The final straw was a dismal 4-1 defeat to Watford, which saw United drop down to seventh in the table.

Interim manager Ralf Rangnick hasn't fared much better than his predecessor, with the Red Devils now sixth but looking likely to miss out on the Champions League next season.Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane said he believes the squad needs a complete overhaul in the summer, but referenced recent signings Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, who joined when there was "not a good coach at the club" - a dig at Solskjaer. "There will have to be a complete overhaul," Keane said. "Yes, they can go for meals and be positive and talk about the performances but they don’t show that on the pitch.
