Furious parents have slammed the two-and-a-half hour queues at a Santa’s grotto with one mum even calling the police. The parents, hopeful to bring their kids to see Santa, paid up to £14 per person to experience the festivities at Belvoir Castle, Leics.
But instead of a fun festive time, they found themselves “shuffling” down corridors in huge queues so long, some gave up before they ever made it to the grotto.
The parents complained of the long queues, and one mum fretted so much about the overcrowding, that she called the police. Since, the castle has closed following advice from local authorities.
