Newcastle United chief Amanda Staveley has slammed the "unfair" pressure on Roman Abramovich to sell Chelsea.Staveley and Abramovich have common ground in that their respective ownership of their Premier League clubs has both faced criticism because of the political situations surrounding their overseas investments. The takeover of Newcastle by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) last year was in doubt for a long time due to the human rights record of the Saudi state. And Russian billionaire Abramovich has now decided to invite buyers for Chelsea after he came under-fire following his home country's continued invasion of Ukraine.Staveley was asked about her counterpart's situation at the Financial Times' Business of Football Summit in London on Thursday (March 3).She said: "PIF run the club as an autonomous institution that runs the club separately."This world is always going to have geo-political issues.

This world is never not going to have problems. I know that is really hard. What do you make of Staveley's views?
