Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Elon Musk and China have denied responsibility. According to Space.com, the three-tonne rocket was scheduled to hit the moon’s lunar far side yesterday shortly after noon (March 4).

If it has crashed, however, it will have done so at speed: it was travelling through space at almost 60,00mph.However, it was out of view of NASA’s ground-based telescopes, and their Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter was out of position to catch the collision.Scientists believe that if it collided with the Moon then it will have formed a new crater and sent plumes of lunar soil up around it.NASA has pledged to locate the resulting crater, though this process could take months.Scientists have been tracking the rocket for a number of years, but it is uncertain where this spacecraft came from or what exactly it is.Astronomers initially believed that it may have belonged to Elon Musk's SpaceX firm, specifically the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. However, others tracking the object have suggested that it is likely to be a Chinese spacecraft - though the country denies it.There has also been some speculation that the craft may be part of a SpaceX rocket. However, we may never be able to establish where the piece of debris originally came from. The effects of the impact on the Moon should have been minor. The rocket was first sighted from Earth in March 2015, when a NASA-funded space survey in Arizona spotted it.The object was labelled as “space junk”, hardware discarded from missions or satellites without enough fuel or energy to return to Earth.Keep up to date with all the latest news stories.
