Bon Iver have announced an Australian leg for their current world tour, making up for a cancelled run of dates from last year.The Justin Vernon-fronted act were initially scheduled to tour Australia in June of 2020; however, that run was pushed back by nine months when the COVID-19 pandemic began to take hold. The tour was then due to start in March 2021 – with Gordi and Stella Donnelly confirmed as support acts – but it was ultimately cancelled in November 2020 with the band “look[ing] forward to safer days ahead”.Today (August 24), six Australian dates have been confirmed for the first quarter of 2023.

Stella Donnelly has shared a new single, ‘Flood’, which serves as the title track to her second studio album.The single, released today (June 21), is the second to be lifted from the album following the release of ‘Lungs’ last month – which also coincided with the album’s announcement. ‘Flood’, the album, is set for release on August 26.Donnelly has also shared an accompanying music video for the new song, which she co-directed alongside producer Grace Goodwin and director of photography Nick McKinlay.

Indie label Secretly Canadian plans to celebrate its 25th anniversary with the release of album reissues, previously unreleased songs, and covers, Pitchfork reports. Some of the 12 planned reissues are set to include Tig Notaro’s Live, Whitney’s 2016 album Light Upon the Lake, and War on Drugs’ 2008 album Wagonwheel Blues, each pressed on colored vinyl and limited to 1000 copies per title.
