Corrie's Maximus Evans quizzed by fans after 'snubbing' co-star in Soap Awards speech
Coronation Street star Maximus Evans' apparent 'snub' of Mollie Gallagher during his acceptance speech.Hosted by Phillip Schofield, the awards ceremony took place in London on Sunday evening - with soap's biggest stars descending on the Hackney Empire to compete in a number of categories.Whilst Emmerdale walked away with the prestigious Best Soap gong, it was Corrie's Corey Brent actor Maximus Evans who took home the Villain of the Year award. With fans happy to see Max win, some viewers on Twitter did question why he neglected to mention his co-star Mollie Gallagher while on stage.Mollie plays Nina Lucas on the ITV soap, who was viciously attacked by Corey and his pals in a brutal assault last year. With Nina's boyfriend Seb Franklin passing away from his injuries, Corey was eventually charged with murder thanks to Nina's campaign for justice. While accepting his Villain of the Year gong, Max thanked a number of his Corrie co-stars by name while failing to mention Mollie and some Soap Awards viewers have questioned why Max didn't thank Mollie while accepting the award. One viewer wrote: "Re-watching last night’s #SoapAwards, noticed Maximus Evans didn’t mention Mollie in his speech."Another added: "So was Max forgetting to thank Mollie a deliberate snub, a slip of his mind or what?"Earlier this year, Corey was imprisoned for a minimum of 14 years for Seb's murder.Asked about a possible return to Coronation Street after the show, Max told Radio Times: "We don't know because I think he got put away for so many years."I think it will be a little while, I'd like it to be a while.

Corrie fans 'work out' Abi's mystery helper and predict baby Alfie custody twist
Coronation Street fans believe they have figured out Abi’s mystery helper and have predicted a major twist amid her ongoing custody battle.Fans watched emotional scenes last night as the mechanic discovered the fate of baby Alfie in her custody battle with ex, Imran Habeeb.Abi, who did not even know she was pregnant, gave birth prematurely earlier this year after going into labour at the side of the road.It soon unravelled that the former drug addict, who had relapsed following the breakdown of her relationship with husband Kevin Webster, became pregnant following a one-night stand with Imran in September. The pair became close after the murder trial of her son Seb Franklin. Now married, Imran and Toyah took on former addict Abi in court, who stands little chance of winning custody given her history of drug abuse and inability to secure a legal representative.Despite her infidelity, ex Kevin agreed to go with her to the custody hearing and was shocked when Abi’s former lawyer, Elliot, showed up.He told her that he'd be representing her again despite Abi's money from Imran running out. When quizzed how he is being paid, he refused to disclose the mystery helper and Kevin was quick to deny it was him.Now Corrie viewers believe they know exactly who the mystery benefactor is.Taking to Twitter, one keen fan penned: "I think Kelly helped Abi by giving her some of Rick’s money or it was Toyah.

Coronation Street's Kevin 'to be revealed as father of Abi's baby' as exit confirmed
Coronation Street fans predict that Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) will be revealed to be Abi Webster's (Sally Carman) newborn baby. The wayward character recently realised she was pregnant and experienced contractions after being abandoned at the side of the road by her dodgy pal Dean Turnbull.Abi managed to get herself to the hospital, where she gave birth to a baby boy. However, she quickly decided that she'd be an unfit mum to the new arrival and did a runner back to the cobbles, abandoning her son in the hospital.Abi's partner Kevin recently turned his back on her after he discovered about her one night stand last year. After her son Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) was brutally murdered by Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) in May last year, Abi was determined to see justice served. When the initial trial saw Corey found not guilty, Abi walked into the night hoping to score drugs to numb her unbearable grief.Viewers later learned that Abi had a fling that night with Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo), who was also struggling after failing to prove foster daughter Kelly Neelan's (Millie Gibson) innocence. The pair declared their one-off encounter as a moment of madness and vowed to keep the secret under wraps. In January, Abi had cause to approach Imran once again when she thought she might be pregnant - but later covertly informed him that the test was negative. From the dates Abi gave while she was in labour, it was clear to viewers that Imran is indeed the father, and definitely not husband Kev.But with Imran blissfully unaware of the situation as he celebrates his engagement to Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) - who knows he cheated but not who with - it looks like his settled family life is about to implode. However, fans of the
