Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Mum's terror after football-sized cyst in baby's neck 'looked like a third chin'

A scared mum was left fearing for her child's life after doctors found a cyst the size of a football growing on her baby's neck.

Hairdresser Katie Clarenbone, 32, says the abscess resembled a third chin and it sent the family into a blind panic. The stylist and her husband James from Southampton, Hampshire, were concerned when doctors noticed a large fluid-filled cyst during her 20-week scan.

Medics called it a lymphatic malformation – a clump of vessels that form in a jumbled cluster causing unusual growths – and Katie he was referred to a foetal medicine doctor to make sure it wasn't obstructing her baby's airways.
