A Tory MSP is taking the fight to dual East Kilbride's railway line to the Scottish Parliament.Central Scotland MPS, Graham Simspon, has tabled a motion branding the announcement last week that the line to the town will remain single track - with the money spent elsewhere - as "short-sighted".The project to dual the line between East Kilbride and Busby along with electrification, announced last July as part of the Scottish Government's 'Decarbonisation Action Plan', has been scrapped in a sudden U-turn with single track electrification only.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
