Mark Wahlberg says his new home city of Las Vegas has a lot to offer. The 51-year-old actor recently celebrated the opening of his second Wahlburger’s restaurant location on the Las Vegas Strip.
He says his entire family is doing really well after recently moving from California. Keep reading to find out more… “I couldn’t be more excited,” Mark told Extra. “My kids are thriving here… I’ve really been welcomed with open arms, which has been very nice.” Mark is married to Rhea Durham and they have daughters Ella, 19, and Grace, 13, and sons Michael, 17, and Brendan, 14. Mark says that people’s perspectives on Las Vegas as a city may not be entirely accurate. “People have a tendency to think of Las Vegas as the Vegas Strip.
There’s tons of stuff to do here outside of gaming and nightlife… There’s lots of amazing communities that are faith-based and family-based and really cool, great schools,” The Fighter actor said.
Wahlburgers is a burger concept by Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg and brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg. “We have stores all over the country and now in various countries all over the world,” Mark said. “I think our customer… when they come to Nevada, they want a taste of home and so they gravitate towards all burgers, and we do have the best burgers and the best beer and the best desserts and the best healthy offerings on the Strip.” Mark recently opened up about his faith and why he refuses to deny it, even though religion is not a popular subject in Hollywood.
