Manchester United will make a move for Manchester City star Raheem Sterling if their ban from European competition is upheld, according to reports.
UEFA have banned City from the Champions League for the next two seasons for serious breaches of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations but the club will have their appeal heard at the Court of Arbitration for Sport over three days starting on June 8.
Should the Blues lose their appeal then there are concerns that some star players may seek to leave the club as they want to compete at the highest level of club football.
According to the Independent, United are keeping their eyes on the situation and will make a move for Sterling should he become available.
