Budget hotel chain Travelodge is transforming 60 of its hotels with a new ‘budget-luxe’ design - and Manchester Piccadilly is one of the group’s first hotels to be upgraded.
The hotel will unveil its new look on Friday August 26, just in time for the Bank Holiday weekend. The multi-million pound upgrade programme is Travelodge’s biggest brand transformation to date and it was developed using feedback from around 5,000 UK business and leisure travellers.
The chain says a key feature of the budget-luxe hotels is a "tasteful colour palette", which includes a signature navy blue echoing the Travelodge brand colour.
The hotel’s reception will include contemporary leather bench seating and wooden-style flooring.
