Michael Glendinning is due to be sentenced for harassing Rossendale and Darwen MP Jake Berry. Glendinning, 56, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday (August 3), but the case was adjourned for a psychiatric assessment to take place, Lancs Live reports. Glendinning sent numerous emails to Mr Berry’s office and left answering machine messages in which he threatened to hurt him, the court heard.
