TikTok star Eva Evans found dead from apparent suicide: ‘A New York icon’
300,000 followers, who directed and starred in the Prime Video series “Club Rat.” Law enforcement sources told TMZ on Tuesday that a friend found Evans, 29 hanging in her NYC apartment on Saturday night, after having seen her on Friday. “Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died,” Evans sister Lila Joy Baumgardner wrote on Instagram Sunday. “After 24 hours, i still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so i know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be.”Per TMZ, the friend who called the police told them that they weren’t aware of Evans being depressed or otherwise emotionally disturbed.Sources said there was no sign of a struggle, no unusual injuries, and that Evans left a note behind.
