One of this year's major blockbusters, which critics didn't favour but audiences adored, is now available to stream at home.Red One, one of 2024's most anticipated cinema releases, didn't quite make the impact that star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson might have hoped for.

However, it's now available for home streaming, perfect for some festive viewing.Initially released exclusively in cinemas in November, it's now accessible on Amazon Prime from today (December 12).

The film boasts a star-studded cast including Marvel veteran Chris Evans, Academy Award winner J. K. Simmons and Lucy Lieu. The director behind the recent Jumanji reboots helmed the project, with one of the Fast and Furious franchise writers contributing to the script, reports Wales Online.Designed as a festive treat, the plot revolves around Santa Claus (Simmons), Code Name: RED ONE, who gets kidnapped.

The North Pole's Head of Security (Johnson) is then compelled to join forces with the world's most notorious bounty hunter (Evans) in a thrilling, globe-trotting mission to rescue Christmas.Despite raking in approximately $160 million at the box office, the film was produced on a budget ranging between $200 - $250 million.
