A young woman has shared her shocking experience of an extreme allergic reaction to tattooed lipstick, which she says left her resembling a character from the Disney Pixar film Monsters Inc.

Tash Evans, from Manchester, claims she began to feel her lips swelling during the one-and-a-half-hour procedure. The 21-year-old said she had the shock of her life when she looked in the mirror and saw that her lips had ballooned to five times their usual size.

Tash says that she resembled the character Fungus from Disney Pixar film Monsters Inc. In the film, the villain is left with giant lips after being sucked into a scream extractor machine.

She had the permanent make-up treatment done on Saturday (January 18). "I had a jump scare when I looked at myself in the mirror," Tash said. "They started swelling as soon as she started doing it.
