The Scottish great went round for a chat as part of an initiative between NIVEA Men and fan podcast The Anfield Wrap, after the companies worked together during the coronavirus pandemic to donate 50 iPads to care homes to help people stay in touch with their loved ones.
One of the iPads handed out was given to Eric who would use it to watch Liverpool games from his room at Ash Court, because his health meant it was difficult to head to Anfield for matches.
Dalglish chatted to Eric about his eternal love for the club before handing him a signed shirt and VIP tickets to Liverpool's final league game of last season against Wolves, the Liverpool ECHO reports.READ MORE: Forgotten Liverpool youngster who wanted to be 'better than Van Dijk' set for Prem loanCraig Hannan, head of brand and marketing at The Anfield Wrap said: "The Anfield Wrap had worked with NIVEA MEN on making this happen for over a year, it had been pushed back so many times due to Covid and so we're just happy that Eric and his family were able to enjoy those moments together.
