Kevin Clifton won't be back on Strictly Come Dancing later this year as bosses keep faith with the dancers who worked through the pandemic.
He stepped away from the BBC show last March to try and break the West End – days before the Covid-19 hit. After winning the series in 2018, Kevin left the BBC dancefloor behind to realise his dreams on the stage.
He said goodbye to Strictly but things were about to turn grim for the performing arts as the coronavirus devastated the industry.
It put his big plans on hold and he didn't get the chance to reverse his decision when the show returned in October. Fans hoped he would be back for 2021 but those hopes seem to have been dashed.
