Jim Goodwin was delighted with the resolve his makeshift side showed to pick up a pivotal win against Ross County. St Mirren travelled to Dingwall missing several key players, including influential midfielders Jake Doyle-Hayes, Ethan Erhahon and Ryan Flynn.
Despite going behind early on, the Paisley side managed to shake themselves into action in the second half going on to win 3-1.
The win moved the Buddies back into seventh spot in the Premiership, Goodwin’s target ever since narrowly missing out on the top six, thanks to Dundee United’s heavy defeat to Kilmarnock.
