Two people have been charged after drugs worth £1.4 million were seized in an Ayrshire town. Heroin, cocaine and speed were found by police at a property in Nithsdale Road, Ardrossan, around 8.45pm on Thursday.
Police said the estimated street value of the Class A and Class B drugs is approximately £1.4 million. The force confirmed a man aged 52 and woman aged 49 have since been arrested and charged in connection with the seizure.Both are due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, December 13.A report has been prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.A Police Scotland statement read: "Around 8.45pm, officers acting under warrant, entered a property in Nithsdale Road, Ardrossan and recovered a quantity of Class A and Class B drugs."The
