Hayley Williams unveiled the second Petals for Armor installment on Tuesday (April 21), just a few weeks before her debut solo album of the same name drops via Atlantic Records on May 8.The five-song installment includes a new single, "Dead Horse," which details the feelings of betrayal after ending her longterm relationship. "I said I beat it like a dead horse, I beat it like a drum / Oh, I stayed with you too long / Skipping like a record, I sang along / A shitty never-ending song," she chants in the chorus.The heavy feeling is especially captioned in the intro, where Williams is heard telling presumably her producer Taylor York: "Alright, it took me three days to send you this, but sorry, I was in a depression.
