Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has admitted that it wasn't until recently that he fully understood the size of the club's rivalry with Leeds United.
The German made the admission ahead of this afternoon's showdown at Elland Road, which will see United face Leeds in a Premier League fixture away from home with supporters present for the first time since 2003.
Last season, of course, the two meetings between the two clubs were played behind closed doors due to Covid-19 regulations— meaning Sunday's atmosphere promises to be one to savour for both sets of supporters.
Having thumped Leeds 5-1 at Old Trafford on the opening day of the season back in August, United will be hoping to complete a league double over the Whites and secure a second consecutive win after Tuesday evening's triumph over Brighton.
