A hairdresser with Cystic fibrosis has written an open letter pleading for access to a so-called miracle drug that could give her "a chance at life".
Hailey Mann, from Aberdeenshire, said she was led to believe by doctors she would be granted use of the drug Kaftrio - not yet available in Scotland - on compassionate grounds in January.
However, the 24-year-old said the coronavirus pandemic appears to have left things in limbo with a consultant at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary telling her last week to begin preparing for end-of-life.
In her letter - seen by the Daily Record - which she hopes will reach First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, she said: "I will soon be dead.
