Chris Packham has written to Nicola Sturgeon asking her to urgently take action over a poisoned White-tailed eagle. The rare bird of prey was found dead on a grouse moor in the Cairngorms national park, where Springwatch is normally filmed.
The post-mortem examination established it had ingested pesticide and the death is being treated as suspicious. The conservationist and presenter shared the powerful letter to Sturgeon on Twitter, saying: "Today I sent this letter to Nicola Sturgeon and Roseanna Cunningham.
