Paul Pogba has been backed to commit his future to Manchester United and sign a new contract. The French international has entered the final 12 months of his current £150,000-a-week deal and United have the option of extending it another season.But executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward wants to tie Pogba down to a longer, three-year-deal that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2024.Woodward is poised to start negotiations with the World Cup winner and it is understood United are willing to make Pogba one of the club's highest-paid stars on a deal worth in excess of £225,000-a-week.Pogba's close friend Louis Saha has revealed the midfielder is happy at Old Trafford again following a difficult 12 months and that he remains a world-class talent.
