Glasgow are putting home deliveries on hold to distribute care packages to those in need. Woodlands-based takeaway Mrs Falafel were inspired to launch 'Feed Glasgow' after seeing how many people were queuing outside one of the city’s busy soup kitchens.
The family-run business will be providing 200 packages which staff will hand out in George Square from 12pm-4pm on Friday, April 2.
Mrs Falafel was founded on the much-loved family recipes of founder and director Ahmed Abutoq’s mum Abeer, renowned for feeding and nourishing her family and friends throughout the years.
