Family of beloved woman killed during 'G-Wagon' crash say she left a ‘remarkable legacy’

Tributes have been paid to a ‘gentle soul’ and much-loved woman who died after being hit by a car in east Manchester. Ibizugbe Ikponnmwen died following the collision involving a blue Mercedes G63 - or 'G-Wagon' - at the junction of Alan Turing Way and Ashton Old Road.

The 38-year-old was rushed to hospital following the crash on Monday (October 25) but she sadly died a short time later. Family members, who say Ibizugbe left a ‘remarkable legacy’ have now paid tribute.
