Caretaker manager Michael Carrick has said that while he learnt a lot from the managers he played under and worked with, he will bring his own spin to being a manager.
Carrick will take charge of Manchester United against Villarreal in the Champions League on Tuesday having been placed in charge following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjae r on Sunday morning.
Carrick was part of the United coaching set-up under Solskjaer's predecessor Jose Mourinho and kept his job under the new regime.
The former United midfielder has said that playing under Sir Alex Ferguson was different to the brief time he had with Louis van Gaal and coaching alongside Mourinho.
