Everton striker Dominic Calvert Lewin was fined £900 after pleading guilty to speeding while driving a Lamborghini through Runcorn.Chester Magistrates’ Court heard this morning Calvert-Lewin’s vehicle was recorded speeding on the A533 Central Expressway southbound near Halton Lodge towards Beechwood at 1.08pm on August 18 last year.His Lamborghini was travelling at 58mph in a 50mph zone.After initially pleading not guilty to speeding and a charge of failing to provide information, Calvert-Lewin - who was not present in court - changed his speeding plea to guilty via his legal representation Barry Warburton.Prosecutor Michael O’Kane offered no evidence on the charge of failing to provide information meaning the charge was dropped.A magistrates panel, chaired by Roy Baron, fined Calvert-Lewin £900, with an order to pay prosecution costs of £620, all within 28 days, and ordered a surcharge of £90.Three points were added to his licence, meaning he now has six points following a previous incident of speeding on February 28, 2020.Mr Warburton commented that Calvert-Lewin was a “professional footballer” with a “disposable income in excess of £450 per week”.Calvert-Lewin missed Everton's defeat against Wolves on Sunday due to illness according to Frank Lampard. The forward didn't even make the bench but will hope to be back in action on Thursday.The Toffees take on Newcastle in a crunch clash at the bottom of the table - and a victory would move them three points clear of Watford with games in hand.Calvert-Lewin has managed only three goals from his nine appearances during an injury-hit season.
