Everton steward who worked his socks off to try and remove a protester who had cable-tied himself to the post.A young man wearing a 'just stop oil' t-shirt stormed the pitch in the second-half during the Toffees' must-win clash against Newcastle United and managed to handcuff himself to the frame of the goal, echoing scenes from Liverpool's victory over Arsenal on Wednesday evening.The game was halted for around eight minutes as security staff scrambled for tools to remove the protester.

Luckily, a bolt-cutter soon arrived, and the man tasked with using it sent the internet wild as he pulled some remarkable faces."Look at the effort from the bolt cutter guy," one person tweeted."The work rate from the bolt cutter guy is crazy," another said.A third wrote: "That’s the most effort Goodison has seen on the pitch all season," while another said: "Looks like he’s trying to cut through his spinal column with that force."After an almost identical incident happened at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, Premier League fans will wonder where the activists will try to strike next.Are Everton going to stay up this season?
