crack cocaine in Dundee. The 23-year-old was arrested after police stopped a car in the Mid Craigie area around 10am on Thursday, July 9 and allegedly recovered £2,700 worth of the class A drug.

Further investigation into the suspect led to officers allegedly finding more crack in a second vehicle on Balgray Street, with an estimated value of £11,000.

A drug search warrant was then carried out in the Woodside area today, July 10.The suspect has been charged with drug offenses.Detective Inspector Paul Riley, Dundee CID, said: "This has been an excellent piece of police teamwork, starting with excellent knowledge of the local area by response officers followed by detectives developing intelligence and working with partners to bring the.
